Surveillance Video of Burglary at Eyota American Legion Released

(ABC 6 NEWS) - The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office has released surveillance video of a burglary at the Eyota American Legion where a safe and an ATM machine was stolen.

Authorities say the burglary happened between the hours of 12:15 a.m. and 6:55 a.m. on Sunday, October 2nd.

One of the Legion's doors was taken during the crime. It's unknown how much money was in the ATM. However, the safe was found on Highway 52 near Chatfield. Nothing was taken from it.

Captain Scott Behrns says whoever broke in also cut the phone lines. He says the suspect or suspects have likely done something like this before.
